OWEGO, N.Y. — Sean Lanning recently joined Tioga County Economic Development and Planning as an education-workforce coordinator.

In this role, Lanning will work with Tioga County schools and businesses to enhance workforce opportunities for local students.

“We are excited to have Sean on board,” Tioga County Economic Development and Planning Director LeeAnn Tinney said in a news release. “Sean is an excellent addition to our team, and we are looking forward to him getting to know and connecting Tioga County’s school and business communities.”

Lanning previously worked as program coordinator for Catholic Charities of Tompkins/Tioga.

Lanning received his undergraduate degree in international studies from Arcadia University. He is working on his master’s degree in public administration at Binghamton University.
