People news: Le Moyne hires Botto as assistant VP for HR

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Le Moyne College announced it has hired Karin Botto as its new assistant vice president for human resources and organization development.

Botto comes to Le Moyne following a 20-year career at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. She worked in in a number of areas within the university, including enrollment management, strategic planning, mission, and training and development.

For the past three years, she was executive director of organization development and Ignatian leadership. In this role, she oversaw and facilitated the university’s Ignatian Leadership Development Program for faculty and administrators. She was also in charge of developing, implementing, and assessing a range of professional-development programs including the Saint Joseph’s management training program.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Lycoming College and a master’s degree in training and organization development from Saint Joseph’s.
