People news: Learning Disabilities Association of CNY announces board of directors

EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Learning Disabilities Association of Central New York (LDACNY) recently announced its 2017-2018 board of directors.

The executive board includes: Rebecca Grossman, president; Lorna Oppedisano, vice-president; Anna Richards, secretary; and Jim Pompo, treasurer.

Julie Freeman is joining the board, and returning members include: Deborah Finch, James Graham, Brannan Karg, Andrew Miller, Chris Moore, and Jim Tollar.

LDACNY, headquartered in the village of East Syracuse, says it provides educational consulting support, tutoring, and summer academic programs for children and teens. Employment consulting, community habilitation, recreation groups & ADHD coaching are available to adults. Paulette Purdy is the organization’s executive director.
