SYRACUSE, N.Y. — LeChase Construction Services, LLC announced it recently hired Thomas Sanford as regional safety manager in its Syracuse office.
In this role, Sanford ensures the company’s safety program is consistent across all job sites in the Central New York region. Specifically, he leads the firm’s efforts on safety training, tracking, and reporting, according to a LeChase news release. He also ensures operations across that area comply with site safety plans and applicable regulatory standards, and serves as a liaison to clients and subcontractors on health, safety, and environmental matters.
Sanford has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, serving in a variety of environmental, health and safety roles over the past decade. He previously worked for William H. Lane Incorporated, Ardent Safety Management LLC, and C&S Companies, according to Sanford’s LinkedIn profile.
Sanford has a bachelor’s degree in construction management from SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry in Syracuse and an associate degree in construction technology from Tompkins Cortland Community College in Dryden.
