People news: Magnera promoted to administrator of Huntington Living Center

WATERLOO, N.Y. — UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health has announced the promotion of Nicole Magnera to administrator of Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

She previously served as long term care assistant administrator at the facility.

Magnera received her nursing-home administration certification from SUNY Oswego. She also earned a master’s degree in environmental sciences, with an emphasis in human nutrition, from the University of Alabama, and her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Kentucky.

Huntington Living Center is a 160-bed skilled-nursing facility, located at 369 E. Main St. in Waterloo. It includes four 40-bed units located on three floors. The Special Needs Unit specializes in the care of those with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related diseases.
