People news: Masonic Care Community adds two new employees

UTICA, N.Y. — The Masonic Care Community has added two new employees to its team.

Tiffany Niles

Tiffany Niles is the director of human resources (HR) and will manage all HR activities including talent acquisition, benefits and salary administration, staff development, education, and collective bargaining. Niles has more than 10 years of experience in HR and has held positions with Turning Stone Resort Casino, Chobani, and PAR Technology Corp. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Rose in Albany and an MBA from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Niles is also a member of and holds certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute. She serves on the board of directors for the local Mohawk Valley Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management as the director of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Donna Vadney

Donna Vadney brings more than 20 years of nursing and home-care experience to her position as director of Acacia Home Care at the Masonic Care Community. In this role, Vadney manages Acacia’s licensed and certified home-care agencies and will focus on creating a collaborative and inclusive environment and ensuring the quality and standard of care provided to people in their homes. She previously worked at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse and New York State Public Health in Albany. Vadney holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Russell Sage College in Troy.

The nonprofit Masonic Care Community provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, adult residential care, home care, and independent-living options. It also operates an on-site child-care center. With more than 700 employees, the organization provides services to more than 500 people annually.
