People news: Molisani joins Geneva General Hospital hospitalist team

GENEVA, N.Y. — Ashley Molisani, a nurse practitioner, has joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital in the hospitalist department, parent organization Finger Lakes Health announced.

Most recently, Molisani worked in the Brenda & Dave Rickey Foundation Emergency Department at Geneva General Hospital, which is located at 196 North St. in Geneva. While working in the Emergency Department, she was honored with “The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses,” which recognizes nurses who have had a profound impact in the lives of their patients and patient families.

Molisani received her master’s degree in nursing in the adult-gerontology nurse practitioner program from Keuka College. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. She was also a graduate of Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing & Health Sciences, as well as the Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing — both located on the campus of Geneva General Hospital. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
