ROME, N.Y. — Bartell Machinery Systems, LLC, based in Rome, announced it has promoted Tim Murphy to director of sales for the firm’s wire and cable manufacturing equipment business.
He joined Bartell Machinery Systems in 2008 and most recently served as customer-service manager for the company’s aftermarket parts group. Murphy will focus his efforts on building relationships with new and existing customers and leading Bartell’s wire and cable equipment sales worldwide.
Murphy has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, including nine years with Bartell Machinery Systems, and 15 years as director of operations for Burns Cascade. He grew up “right down the street” from Bartell, the company said.
