UTICA, N.Y. — Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) has appointed William McDonald as the new director of community and workforce development in the school’s Center for Corporate and Community Education (CCED).
McDonald most recently served as director of continuing education at Herkimer College, according to an MVCC news release.
In his new role, McDonald is responsible for the objectives, operations, and accountability of all functions in the CCED.
He will work to develop community partnerships that lead to inter-agency collaborations and community-development efforts, develop the CCED’s business plan for each semester, and work with MVCC’s Institutional Advancement unit to obtain funding grants for CCED programming, the school said.
