People news: MVHS adds new provider to Rome Medical Office

ROME, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Medical Group announced that Brittany Bonanza has joined its Rome Medical Office as a certified family nurse practitioner, where she will provide care to patients of all ages.

Bonanza is the first in the new MVHS post-graduate family-nurse-practitioner residency program. The program’s mission is to provide a supportive entry into primary-care practice for a new family-nurse-practitioner graduate, according to an MVHS news release.

She has more than five years of experience as a registered nurse, including the past four years at MVHS. Bonanza earned her master’s in family nurse practitioner degree from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Marcy. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Utica College.

The MVHS Medical Group, Rome Medical Office is located at 1617 North James St. in Rome.
