People news: MVHS Sleep Disorders Center hires Pascone as physician assistant

UTICA, N.Y. — Angelica Pascone has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Sleep Disorders Center as a physician assistant.

In this position, she will diagnose and treat a number of sleep-related conditions, including excessive snoring, sleep apnea (and obstructive sleep apnea), insomnia (inability to sleep or sleep well), narcolepsy (chronic, uncontrollable daytime sleepiness), and circadian rhythm disorders.

Prior to joining the Sleep Disorders Center, Pascone worked as a physician assistant at the MVHS Washington Mills medical office. Before joining MVHS, Pascone worked at Upstate Cerebral Palsy in Utica, and at The Arc Quinebaug Valley in Connecticut.

Pascone earned a master’s degree in physician-assistant studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, as well as a master’s degree in liberal studies and bachelor’s degree in biology from Utica College

Pascone’s office is located in the MVHS Sleep Disorders Center at the St. Elizabeth campus.
