Dr. Stephen Nash
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — St. Joseph’s Health recently announced it has appointed Dr. Stephen Nash as medical director of its cardiac rehabilitation program.
In this role, Nash will oversee all cardiac rehabilitation services and help advance the cardiovascular programs at St. Joseph’s Health.
Nash is certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and clinical lipidology with more than 20 years of clinical experience in New York state. He began practicing preventive cardiology in 1990, has extensive research experience and has lectured internationally, St. Joseph’s Health said.
Nash has been a clinical assistant professor of medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University for more than 25 years.
He earned his medical degree from Upstate Medical University and completed his medical training with a residency at Rush University Medical Center, formerly Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Nash also completed a cardiology fellowship at University of California San Francisco Medical Center at Mount Zion in San Francisco.
Nash assumed his role St. Joseph’s Health in January.
