UTICA, N.Y. — Psychiatrist Tayo Obatusin, M.D. has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) as assistant clinical professor of psychiatry, psychiatry residency program director, and director of the Behavioral Service Line.
Obatusin received his medical degree from the College of Medicine at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and his fellowship in addiction at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He has more than 35 years of experience and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
Dr. Obatusin is part of the MVHS Behavioral Health office, located at 1676 Sunset Ave. in Utica, and is accepting new patients.
