People news: Oswego Health Foundation hires two new staff members

Michele Hourigan

Hourigan has several years of experience in event planning and management. She previously worked at Oswego Industries/ARC, where she was responsible for event coordination. Hourigan has a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oswego.

Margaret Barclay

Barclay has more than six years of development experience that includes working at Oswego County Opportunities, Vera House, and Manlius Pebble Hill School. She holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University.

“I am pleased to have both Michele and Margaret join the Oswego Health Foundation,” Karen Ferguson, foundation director, said in a news release. “They have experiences that will assist in our philanthropic growth at the health system as we support the healthcare needs of the health system and our community.”

Created in 2011, the Oswego Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that solicits and receives charitable gifts in support of programs, projects, and services provided through Oswego Health affiliates.
