People news: Pirri joins Little Falls Hospital as VP of HR

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. — Christine Pirri has joined Little Falls Hospital, a subsidiary of Bassett Healthcare Network, as vice president of human resources.

Pirri will provide an executive oversight role to monitor and assure ongoing compliance with the” myriad of regulations” that Little Falls Hospital must comply with and to assist senior leadership with human-resource strategy and policy development for the hospital, according to a Bassett news release.

In addition to her role at Little Falls Hospital, Pirri serves as VP at Cobleskill Regional Hospital, a subsidiary of Bassett Healthcare Network in Schoharie County.

“Christine is an accomplished human resources professional who has implemented many new and innovated programs over the course of her career in healthcare,” Michael Ogden, president of Little Falls Hospital, said in the release. “We are fortunate to have her join our senior leadership team.”

Little Falls Hospital is an inpatient 25-bed acute care hospital. It says it is Herkimer County’s only provider of acute inpatient medical care, emergency care, short-term inpatient rehabilitation, ophthalmology and outpatient surgery, and other diagnostic and therapeutic services.
