SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Bond, Schoeneck & King announced that J. Richard (Rick) Pooler, Jr. has joined the law firm’s Syracuse office in its environmental and energy practice.
Pooler spent the last 23 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, serving as assistant general counsel, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also has several years of experience as an environmental consultant.
Pooler’s experience and skills include handling matters of environment, health, and safety laws and compliance; auditing and internal investigations; whistleblower complaints; transactions and due diligence; emergency response; crisis management and project management, the Bond firm said in a news release.
He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1977, and his law degree from Syracuse University in 1980.
Bond, Schoeneck & King has 250 lawyers and operates eight offices in New York state, plus one office each in Florida and Kansas.
