People news: Rosen returns to Raymour & Flanigan as VP of HR and talent acquisition

CLAY, N.Y. — Trista Rosen, who previously worked at Raymour & Flanigan for more than 12 years, has returned after a short stint with Starbucks to serve as VP of human resources and talent acquisition, the furniture retailer says.

“With the furniture industry in such high demand right now, Trista will be focused on overseeing both recruitment and employee retention, with a people and purpose-first mindset to ensure all 7,000-plus employees feel valued and supported on their individual professional development paths,” a Raymour & Flanigan spokesperson says in an email.

Rosen will be based in the Raymour & Flanigan field support center (corporate office) on Morgan Road in Clay. She will also be traveling in the field, working with the HR/ talent acquisition team, as well as Raymour & Flanigan leaders and associates.

Before returning to Raymour & Flanigan, Rosen served as a partner resource manager at Starbucks from 2019-2021. Her first stint at Raymour & Flanigan was from 2007-2019. She started as a human-resource field specialist and worked her way up to regional VP of human resources. Before that, Rosen was an HR executive at Target (2006-2007) and corporate trainer at Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill (1998-2005).
