Salanger brings more than 25 years of national marketing, communications, and media-relations experience to her new role.

Her wealth of experience is complimented by a keen strategic vision, top-notch communication skills and outstanding leadership qualities. She is going to be a tremendous asset to the IVMF and OVMA as we seek to serve the military and veteran community,” Mike Haynie, IVMF founder and Syracuse University vice chancellor for strategic initiatives and innovation, said in a news release.
Salanger most recently managed corporate communications and community philanthropy for Charter Communications. Her philanthropic efforts include the Connect a Million Minds STEM program and a “groundbreaking,” national AMBER Alert initiative, per the release. She is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo.
