Moody earned her J.D. degree from the Columbia University School of Law, after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Security Mutual, founded in 1886, is a mutual insurance company with about $2.7 billion in assets and $32 billion of life insurance in force.
