SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Tricia M. Sherwood, a partner at the Syracuse–based CPA firm, Fust Charles, will be transitioning to the roles of chief financial officer (CFO) and chief human resource officer (CHRO).

Sherwood has been “an invaluable asset to FustCharles for 22 years and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and an unwavering dedication to delivering excellence,” according to a recent Fust Charles news release. Sherwood started her career at FustCharles as an audit associate in 2001 and was admitted into the partnership in 2014. Since then, she has been leading the firm’s human resources and training department.

“We are thrilled to announce Tricia Sherwood’s transition to her new role within our Firm. Tricia has been an integral part of our team and has made significant contributions during her time with us,” Tom Knych, partner at FustCharles, said in the release. “Her strategic thinking, industry knowledge, and exceptional interpersonal skills make her the ideal candidate for this new position. We are confident that Tricia will continue to thrive and bring about positive change in her new role.”

Sherwood received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Le Moyne College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
