NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — Slocum-Dickson Medical Group has announced the addition of physician Elaine Tsukayama to its pediatric department effective Nov. 13.

Dr. Tsukayama is a board-certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She specializes in health and medical care for patients ages 18 and younger.

Tuskayama holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Pacific Union College in Angwin, California and received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida at Gainesville.

“My goal as a pediatrician is to be a source of reassurance for parents and their children,” Tsukayama said in a press release.

Headquartered in New Hartford, Slocum-Dickson Medical Group is a physician-owned, multi-specialty group that offers primary and specialty services, with additional locations in Utica and Ilion. The group currently employs more than 50 physicians and several hundred staff members, per the release.
