CICERO, N.Y. — Ryan Pyland has joined Solvay Bank as assistant VP and manager of its Cicero branch.

Pyland holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego. In his new position, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cicero office while pursuing new business opportunities, Solvay Bank said in a news release.

Solvay Bank has branches in Camillus, Cicero, DeWitt, Fairmount, Liverpool, North Syracuse, Solvay (main office), downtown Syracuse, and Westvale, according to its website.

The bank ranks seventh in deposit market share in the Syracuse metro area with a nearly 6 percent share of all market deposits, according to the latest FDIC statistics.
