CICERO, N.Y. — SRC, Inc. has hired Michael Ryan as assistant vice president of business development.

In this new role, Ryan will be responsible for supporting new and existing business with the U.S. Army. He has more than 35 years of experience in the defense industry, working with the Army to provide “critical expertise” in program management, SRC said in a news release.

“Michael’s wealth of experience working on Army programs will be a valuable asset as we continue to develop innovative solutions for our customers,” Paul Tremont, CEO of SRC, said. “We are excited to welcome him to SRC and look forward to continuing our support of the Army.”

SRC is a nonprofit corporation headquartered in Cicero that focuses on areas that include defense, environment, and intelligence.

Prior to joining SRC, Ryan worked as director, cyber electromagnetic activity at Woodbridge, New Jersey–based DHPC Technologies, where he was responsible for overseeing business activities in the cyber, electronic warfare, spectrum, and intelligence domains.

He also served as the deputy project manager, electronic warfare and cyber, for the program executive office intelligence, electronic warfare and sensors (PEO IEW&S) at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and earlier at Fort Monmouth in New Jersey.
