CICERO, N.Y. — SRC, Inc. — a nonprofit research and development company based in Cicero that focuses on areas that include defense, environment, and intelligence — announced it has hired Amy Dupell as director of business systems, program management.

Dupell will lead a cross-functional project team to review and update business systems to support employees and this growing enterprise. The project seeks to produce increased efficiency, improved processes, and more effective tools and systems, SRC said in a news release.

“We welcome Amy to SRC and are excited for the outcomes of this major project,” said Paul G. Tremont, CEO of SRC. “Her experience in leading large-scale business system development will be critical to building a robust system infrastructure that supports our growth and our employees as we continue to find innovative solutions for our customers.”

Dupell joins SRC from TIAA, where she was lead program manager. Prior to that, she worked as an IT project delivery manager for AXA Equitable and was responsible for leading, planning and delivering multiple complex projects aligned to business objectives, the release stated. Dupell also worked for Carrier Corporation as a project manager and team leader that improved productivity and financial performance for the company’s manufacturing and service business.

Dupell holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Cornell University and an MBA from Syracuse University.
