CICERO, N.Y. — SRC Inc. announced it has promoted James Johnson to director of test engineering.

In this role, Johnson will lead a team focused on system integration and test, software validation, formal verification, and product demonstrations, the company said. He has been with SRC for 13 years, most recently as senior manager of test engineering. Johnson has extensive knowledge of test and systems engineering in both the military and aerospace industries.

Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona as well as a master’s degree in systems engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.

SRC is a nonprofit research and development company, headquartered in Cicero, that focuses on areas that include defense, environment, and intelligence.
