In her new role, Snyder will be responsible for determining and directing all legal matters relating to SRC, its subsidiaries, and affiliates. She will ensure that the legal rights of the corporation are maintained, provide in-house guidance and counsel, and coordinate outside legal counsel resources. In addition, Snyder oversees the areas of compliance, risk management, and internal-audit functions, as well as the firm’s contracts and procurement groups, SRC said in a news release. Snyder will also serve as secretary of the board of trustees.
Snyder has been with SRC for six years and has more than 15 years of experience advising organizations in matters of regulatory compliance, governance, and mergers and acquisitions. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and her law degree from Syracuse University.
SRC says it is a not-for-profit research and development company, combining information, science, technology, and ingenuity to solve problems in the areas of defense, environment, and intelligence. It is based in the town of Cicero.
