CICERO, N.Y. — SRC Inc. announced it has promoted Maria Ucchino to assistant vice president (AVP) of corporate strategy.

In her new role, Ucchino will provide strategic direction to SRC, ensuring that the company has solutions to address customer needs and remains well-positioned in key markets, SRC said in a release. She will also provide leadership to the organization’s Centers of Excellence, which focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and user experience.

Ucchino has been with SRC for more than 13 years. Most recently, she served as director of corporate strategy, helping to lead strategic-planning efforts for SRC, managing strategic investments for maximum results, and leading the User Experience Center of Excellence.

Ucchino has a bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and certificates in marketing from Syracuse University, women’s leadership from Yale, and disruptive strategy from Harvard.

“Maria’s experience, knowledge and business acumen continue to be vital to SRC,” said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC. “Under her leadership, the corporate strategy department will be able to position the enterprise optimally, allowing us to help in keeping America and its allies safe and strong.”

SRC is a not-for-profit research and development company that works in the areas of defense, environment, and intelligence.
