CICERO, N.Y. — SRCTec, LLC announced it has named Michelle Palmer its director of quality.

In this position, Palmer will be responsible for process assurance and product compliance throughout the company’s production lifecycle. She will manage the transition from product development to full-scale production and will provide strategic leadership and focus on quality efforts including defect prevention, failure analysis, product testability, and continuous improvement, SRCTec said in a news release.

SRCTec, located in Cicero, describes itself as a manufacturing and life cycle management company specializing in the production of advanced military electro-mechanical products. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of SRC, Inc., which is a nonprofit research and development company that is also headquartered in Cicero.

Palmer has been with the SRC enterprise for more than a decade. She most recently served as director of test engineering at SRC, Inc. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer systems from Mercyhurst University and a master’s degree in information systems from Syracuse University.

“Michelle is a proven leader in the SRC enterprise,” Anthony Stewart, general manager of SRCTec, said in the release. “Her knowledge and experience will be invaluable to SRCTec and our customers as we continue striving for high quality in our products and services.”
