People news: SRCTec hires Charlesworth as director of life cycle management

CICERO, N.Y. — SRCTec, LLC announced it has hired Robert Charlesworth as director of life cycle management.

Charlesworth joins SRCTec from the New York Army National Guard, where he served as commander of the 27th brigade, providing executive management of the organization’s operations, security, and logistics. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and has extensive experience working with military executives at The Pentagon.

In his new role, Charlesworth will lead life cycle management, sustainment, and service activities for SRCTec’s products and programs. He will also be instrumental in fostering continued business expansion, the company said.

Charlesworth holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering and master’s degrees in both project management and national-security strategy. He is active in several veteran’s service organizations, specifically volunteering in assisting transitioning veterans.

SRCTec, located in Cicero, describes itself as a manufacturing and life cycle management company specializing in the production of advanced military electro-mechanical products. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of SRC, which is a nonprofit research and development company that is also headquartered in Cicero.
