People news: St. Joseph’s Health hires Odrzywolski as neurologist

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — St. Joseph’s Health announced it has hired Karen Odrzywolski, M.D. to its neurology team, where she will diagnose and treat neurological conditions in adult patients.

Odrzywolski previously served as medical director of the stroke program at Auburn Community Hospital. She was also a neurologist at Auburn Memorial Medical Services and a clinical instructor with the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Odrzywolski earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Cornell University in Ithaca.

She completed one fellowship in neuromuscular medicine and one residency in neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Odrzywolski also completed a residency in internal medicine at Upstate Medical.

Odrzywolski will see patients on the main campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
