CICERO, N.Y. — State Farm agent Dan Tivnan announced he recently opened an office in Cicero.
Tivnan has been with State Farm for the past eight years. The office, located at 8081 Brewerton Road in Cicero, is one he took over from another longtime State Farm agent, according to a company news release.
“Taking over this office means a lot to me, as I love the Cicero area,” Tivnan said. “I plan on growing my business by creating 4-5 jobs within my agency made up of licensed insurance producers who live in the community. Who better to help me grow it than those who know it the best?”
He sells auto, home, property, business, flood, life, and health insurance, the release noted, as well as banking products and annuities.
Tivnan has an associate degree in accounting from Mohawk Valley Community College and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from SUNY Oswego. He also holds certificates in property and casualty, health, and life insurance, and focuses on life insurance.
