UTICA, N.Y. — Leo P. Sullivan, M.D., has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Surgical Group as a general surgeon.

Dr. Sullivan received his medical degree from New York University and also completed an internship and residency in surgery at New York University. He finished an additional residency in general/vascular surgery at Staten Island Hospital. Sullivan is certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery.

He has more than 31 years of experience in trauma surgery, including six years as medical director of the Trauma Center at MVHS.

Dr. Sullivan is part of the MVHS Surgical Group, located at 4401 Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford, and is accepting new patients.
