SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Crunch professional hockey club has hired Hannah Wheaton as a promotions manager.
Wheaton joins the Crunch after graduating from SUNY Cortland this year with a degree in sport management and a minor in communications, according to a Crunch news release. Prior to joining the Crunch, Wheaton interned with Company 20 and the New York Jets.
Wheaton will assist in the development of the Crunch’s promotional activities, manage the club’s promotional team, and oversee all game operations, the release stated.
The Syracuse Crunch (www.syracusecrunch.com) will host the Utica Comets in the Toyota Dome Classic at Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome on Nov. 22.
