James Peduto
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — The Agency announced it has recently added James R. Peduto to its board of directors.
Peduto is managing partner of Knowledgeworx, LLC, a consulting firm that says it helps businesses improve their sales performance. He is based in the town of Union.
Peduto also was the founder, owner, and CEO of Matrix Integrated Facility Management. Before starting Matrix, he was president of Roberts Maintenance Supply, and he began his career as an attorney.
Peduto serves or has served on a number of charitable boards, including Mercy House of the Southern Tier, Binghamton Bearcats Athletic Association, Discovery Center Foundation, Goodwill Theater, Town of Union Local Development Corporation, and the Binghamton Country Club, according to The Agency’s latest monthly newsletter.
The Agency, located at FIVE South College Drive in the town of Dickinson, is the entity that governs the Broome County Industrial Development Agency and the Broome County Local Development Corporation.
The Agency is the lead economic-development organization for Broome County. It provides assistance through property-tax abatement programs for expansions or significant renovation projects, revolving-loan programs, bond issuance for large-scale manufacturing and nonprofit projects, and information on federal and state financing resources.
