ITHACA, N.Y. — Tompkins Community Bank announced it has appointed Sherri Huey as assistant VP, residential mortgage loan officer.
Huey retired from M&T Bank while serving as assistant VP in the residential mortgage loan department. With more than 35 years of experience in the financial industry, Huey brings an extensive understanding of mortgage products, programs, and industry regulations to her new role, Tompkins Community Bank said in a news release.
“Sherri’s sweeping knowledge of the mortgage industry and over 30 years of banking experience make her an expert in the field and an integral part of our team,” Stacy Merrill, residential mortgage lending manager at Tompkins Community Bank, said. “We are looking forward to seeing the positive impact that she has on our organization and our clients. She will truly be an asset to Auburn & the surrounding counties for home loan lending.”
