People news: Tompkins Financial Advisors names Case wealth advisor

ITHACA, N.Y. — Tompkins Financial Advisors announced that Bob Case has joined the firm as wealth advisor. He is based at the firm’s office at 119 E. Seneca St. in Ithaca.

Case brings 18 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining Tompkins Financial Advisors, he was a business banking relationship manager at M&T Bank.

In his new role at Tompkins, Case is responsible for building new client relationships and identifying the appropriate investment strategies to meet their specific needs, the firm said in a news release. He works closely with an internal team of financial planners and analysts to provide a variety of strategies focusing on wealth management, financial planning, risk management, and tax planning.

Case holds a master’s degree in business management and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Keuka College. He is active in the community, serving on the board of directors for United Way of Tompkins County, Love Living at Home, and Leadership Tompkins.
