ENDWELL, N.Y. — Visions Federal Credit Union (FCU) announced it has hired Julie Steele as its new manager of talent acquisition and retention.

Steele brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in talent-recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and process innovation to her new role. Throughout her career, she has implemented and led recruitment teams in engineering, finance, health care, human resources, information technology, insurance, and other industries.

“I’m excited to bring my experience to Visions,” Steele said in a news release. “I’m looking forward to sharing that we’re so much more than banking. Your local branch is just the tip of the iceberg. I hope that anyone looking for a fulfilling career considers Visions.”

Growth is a strategic priority for Visions, which has a workforce that spans three states — New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The credit union has more than doubled its workforce from 350 employees a decade ago to more than 750 today. It has opened new branches, increased contact centers and bilingual services, and added new specialized jobs in emerging technologies, financial education, data analytics, and digital assets.

Established in 1966, Visions FCU serves more than 235,000 members through nearly 60 branches in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
