MONTOUR FALLS, N.Y. — Construction-services company Welliver has added Katie Watkins to its staff as an assistant project manager.

In this role, Watkins assists in the day-to-day operation of construction sites, coordinates subcontractors and materials, and oversees labor and safety management.

Watkins previously worked as a field engineer for a renewable-energy company where she gained hands-on experience managing workloads while integrating project management and field operations. She started her career on the architectural-design side of the industry before entering the construction field.

“Welliver is a good fit for me,” Watkins said. “The size of projects, variety of market sectors, corporate environment, and opportunities offered to women in construction will help me grow my career. I am eager to fully understand the role of each team member, embrace and learn from their diverse backgrounds and skillsets, and champion team collaboration to ensure the project’s success.”

Welliver offers a variety of services including construction management, pre-construction, general construction, and design/build to numerous industries including health care, higher education, commercial/residential, and industrial.
