M&T Bank has named Peter Baildon vice president and senior relationship manager for commercial banking at the branch at 233 Genesee St. in downtown Utica. With more than 30 years of industry experience, he will be responsible for managing and developing middle-market commercial-financing opportunities in the Utica and Mohawk Valley area and will also support M&T’s relationships with colleges and universities throughout the bank’s Central New York region. Baildon comes to M&T Bank from HSBC Bank, where he served as a vice president and senior corporate banking officer. He received a bachelor’s degree applied economics and business management from Cornell University.
