UTICA, N.Y. — Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency Executive Director John J. Piseck, Jr. has joined NBT Bank’s Mohawk Valley Advisory Board.

Formed in 2012, the members of NBT Bank’s Mohawk Valley Advisory Board work closely with bank management in a variety of areas to help shape the bank’s continued growth and development in the region, the bank said in a news release.

Piseck joined the Herkimer County Industrial Development Agency last February and is an “integral player in economic development for Herkimer County,” NBT said.

“We are pleased to welcome John to our advisory board. His expertise in economic development makes him a valuable addition to our group and we look forward to his contributions,” NBT Bank Mohawk Valley Regional President John Buffa said.

Piseck also serves the boards of the Herkimer Community College Quality Assurance Program, Mohawk Valley Community College Manufacturing Program, and Creative Core.
