SULLIVAN, N.Y. — The Oneida Indian Nation announced it plans to formally open its $40 million Point Place Casino on March 1 and will hold a job fair for available positions on Monday.
The venue is under construction along Route 31 in the Bridgeport area of the town of Sullivan in Madison County, a few hundred feet from the Cicero border. Construction on the casino started 10 months ago.
The 65,000-square-foot casino will feature a gaming floor with nearly 500 slot machines and 20 table games, the Oneidas said in a news release.
In addition, Point Place Casino will also include two fast-casual restaurants. They are Burgers of Madison County, which offers burgers and milkshakes, and a third location of Wicked Good Pizza, a pizza shop that originated at Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango. Wicked Good Pizza also has a location at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona.
Point Place Casino will feature two bars, the Fireside Lounge and Paddle Bar. It will also introduce a second location of Opals Confectionary, a chocolatier and bakery which also operates at Turning Stone.
