Jubilee Homes of Syracuse has owned the property at 611 South Ave. since 2009.

The store will also serve as a retail anchor tenant along the South Avenue corridor, Price Rite contends.

Price Rite operates 63 stores in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Virginia.

Price Rite already operates a Syracuse store at 1625 Erie Boulevard East.

Keasbey, New Jersey–based Wakefern Food Corp. is the parent company of Price Rite.
