Rapid Response to fill more than 70 openings at Syracuse headquarters

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Rapid Response Monitoring Services, Inc., a Syracuse–based electronic-security monitoring firm, is partnering with the New York State Department of Labor to hire more than 70 positions at its headquarters in Syracuse.

Rapid Response and the state Labor Department will hold a job fair next Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Destiny USA from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The department announced the job fair in a news release today.

The event, held in the third-level Canyon area, will include presentations from Rapid Response and the state Labor Department, along with on-the-spot interviews.

Available positions include customer-service representative, data-entry representative, accounting assistant, communication and social-media specialist, senior network administrator / network engineer, electrical engineer, software developer, and mobile-application developer, the department said.

Internships are also available in marketing, programming, and information technology.

The department encourages candidates to pre-register online at its website: www.labor.ny.gov/RRMS and to bring their résumé to the event.
