Raymond Corp. seeks to fill open second-shift slots at job fair

GREENE, N.Y. — The Raymond Corporation is hosting a job fair Saturday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to fill positions for its expanding second shift.

The company is ramping up production and assembly as customer demand for forklifts continues to increase. As it expands its second-shift operations to meet that demand, Raymond needs to fill jobs including assemblers, material attendants, welders, production operators, and general utilities.

Raymond looks to recruit applicants of all experience levels, including those with no experience.

The career fair, which takes place at company headquarters at 22 S. Canal St. in Greene in Chenango County, includes on-the-spot interviews and possible job offers. New hires may also qualify for shift-pay incentives and sign-on bonuses.

Raymond produces forklift trucks, pallet jacks and other material-handling solutions. It also operates a facility in DeWitt.
