WATERTOWN, N.Y. — RBC Wealth Management has moved to a new, 5,200-square-foot location in Watertown in the Washington Street Business Park.

It now operates at 19485 US Route 11 in Watertown, the company said in a news release issued Wednesday.

The new office will enable the Watertown branch to “grow and expand,” according to the release.

RBC Wealth Management describes itself as “one of the largest full-service investment, advisory and wealth management firms in the United States,” according to its website.

The firm on Aug. 28 will hold a ribbon cutting and open-house reception for employees, local business leaders, and clients.

RBC Wealth Management CEO John Taft will handle the ribbon cutting, the company said.

“After 100 years in Watertown, RBC Wealth Management is moving to a brand new, stand-alone, larger location that will best position us to serve the investment needs of the firm’s valued clients for the next 100 years,” Cyril Mouaikel, director of RBC Wealth Management’s Watertown branch, said in the release. “We are extremely excited to have CEO John Taft join us to celebrate this achievement.”

The Watertown office currently ranks among the top 10 branches at RBC Wealth Management “based on productivity and profitability,” the firm said.

The office currently employs six financial advisors; a senior investment associate; and five senior support staff, according to the release.

In the U.S., RBC Wealth Management operates as a division of RBC Capital Markets, LLC. RBC is short for Royal Bank of Canada.

RBC Wealth Management has $280 billion in total client assets with 1,900 financial advisors operating in 200 locations in 41 states, the company said.
