WATERTOWN — RealtyUSA has announced that the Watertown and Henderson Harbor offices of Elliott Realty, Inc. are now operating under the RealtyUSA name.
The “agreement to merge” took effect on Tuesday, Realty USA said in a news release.
The company didn’t disclose any financial details of the agreement.

The two firms have been in discussions for several years, William (Bill) Elliott, owner of and broker with of Elliott Realty, Inc., said in the news release. Elliott Realty has served its marketplace for 18 years,
RealtyUSA’s growth and direction in the marketplace is something with which Elliott has been “impressed,” he said.
“From our initial meeting I was pleased to find that we shared the same business ethics and core values. I am looking forward to taking our business to the next level while continuing to expand my business relationship being a part of the RealtyUSA family,” Elliott said.
Mark Re, regional vice president and general manager, will coordinate training, products and services, according to RealtyUSA.
“The Watertown–Henderson Harbor area will complement our Thousand Islands presence,” Re said in the news release.
Elliott Realty operates locations at 642 Coffeen St. in Watertown and at 12505 County Route 123 in Henderson Harbor, according to the firm’s website.
RealtyUSA, headquartered near Buffalo, describes itself as the “largest independent real-estate company” in New York with more than 60 offices and about 2,500 agents and employees.
RealtyUSA is ranked as the sixth largest independent real estate firm in the U.S., the company said.
The real-estate firm handled more than 21,000 transactions, totaling $3.5 billion in sales in 2013, RealtyUSA said.
