Roll Roll Ice Cream, on the second level in the mall’s Canyon section, serves ice cream by pouring it into a pan and mixing it with fresh fruit, candy or other ingredients. It is then chopped, frozen, rolled and topped, according to a release from the mall.
“This isn’t your average ice cream cone,” said John Fazio, director of marketing at Destiny USA.
It’s a style of serving ice cream that originated a few years ago in Thailand and quickly spread around the world, the release said.
The local shop is owned by Syracuse resident Mei Xin and her family.
