Rome Medical Practice to consolidate sites to support RMH as pandemic continues

ROME, N.Y. — Effective Jan. 18, Rome Medical Practice will temporarily consolidate two of its Rome locations to enable clinical and administrative staff to help Rome Memorial Hospital (RMH) with staffing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our practices at 1614 N. James St. will temporarily be relocating to 267 Avery Lane at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park,” Lisa Taurisano, practice administrator, said.

Calls to the 1614 N. James St. location will automatically be forwarded to the new temporary location.

Drs. Alberto Del Pino, Pedro Del Pino, and Theresa Ruddy, will temporarily see their patients in Suite 300 at 267 Avery Lane. In addition, Dr. Mohammad Seedat, a pulmonary and sleep medicine specialist, will temporarily see patients in Suite 100, also at 267 Avery Lane.

“Consolidating our practices at our Avery Lane location at Griffiss will allow us to provide much needed support to the hospital and its nurses,” Taurisano said. “We are committed to ensuring that all patients continue to get the care that they need through this pandemic. As we continue to battle COVID, it’s important for patients to remember that hospitals have protocols in place to protect patients and they shouldn’t delay medically necessary care, especially if it’s an emergency.”
