Rome Research lands contract with Air Force’s Rome Lab

NEW HARTFORD — PAR Technology Corp. (NYSE: PAR) subsidiary Rome Research Corp. (RRC) won a three-year contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome for the Integrated Command and Control Testbed (IC2T) Program worth $4.9 million.

Under the contract, RRC will provide integration, testing, and evaluation of systems and software developments to demonstrate advanced command and control technologies and actively support operational exercises and experimentation.

“RRC has a long history of developing and applying advanced technologies and state-of-the-art capabilities in operational system applications for [command and control] solutions and maintains an in-depth understanding of [command and control] technologies,” Steve Lynch, president of PAR’s government operations, said in a release.

The main goal of the IC2T project is to research and integrate relevant current and emergent command, control, communications, computer and intelligence surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and provide experimentation and integration of emerging technologies to ensure the next generation of technologies is compatible with the command and control system of record.

The Command and Control Concept Center (C2CC) is an Information Directorate level test and integration facility that supports collaborative research, development, and experimentation.
