Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY appoints operations director

 

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York announced it has promoted Nicole Poplawski, of Syracuse, to director of operations.

Poplawski was previously house manager and has been with the nonprofit for nearly six years. In her new role, she will oversee all operations of the CNY Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse, including managing guest services and fostering collaborative partnerships with local hospitals and health-care professionals. Poplawski has an associate degree in hospitality management from SUNY Delhi.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York operates the CNY Ronald McDonald House — located at 1100 E. Genesee St. in Syracuse — 24 hours a day, year-round, at no cost for families whose children are hospitalized with serious illnesses or injuries.
